Common Questions about Baptism

Outdoor Baptism is an annual event where our church comes together to celebrate those proclaiming new life in Christ through baptism in a beautiful, scenic environment.

For those coming to celebrate with those being baptized on Sunday, September 15, for Outdoor Baptism Celebration the location is Six Oaks Ranch, 124 River Cane Drive, off Cane Creek Road in Fletcher.

Baptisms will begin at 3:00 but we encourage you to arrive a little earlier. Seating is limited so you may want to bring a lounge chair or blanket to use on the grass.

As disciples of Jesus, we should follow Christ’s example (Mark 1:9). Jesus told believers to be baptized and set an example for others (Matthew 28:19-20). Baptism is a great opportunity to declare to the world that Jesus is Lord.

Once you've entered into a personal relationship with Jesus, you're ready!
