We're one church meeting in seven locations across Western North Carolina

From the beginning, Biltmore Church has focused on reaching those who do not know God personally and then helping them develop their faith through worship, community, and ministry to others. Today, many thousands of people attend Biltmore Church at multiple campuses across Western North Carolina.

We stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us.

  • 1889

    Fern Hill Baptist Church was founded with 25 members on land that's now part of the Biltmore Estate.

  • 1902

    George Vanderbilt builds a new church building on Summit Street and the church name was changed to Biltmore Baptist Church.

  • 1962

    The church moves to a larger building on Hendersonville Road in Asheville.

  • 1992

    60 members of the church gather in a gym and commit to set aside their personal preferences for the sake of reaching people with the message of the Gospel.

  • 2000

    The church moves into a brand new facility on land in Arden anonymously donated to the church.

  • 2008

    Pastor Bruce Frank joins Biltmore Baptist as Lead Pastor.

  • 2012

    The church makes the strategic decision to go where the people are and launches the East Asheville Campus at Asheville Christian Academy.

  • 2013

    The Franklin Campus launches at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts.

  • 2015

    Hendersonville Campus is launched in Flat Rock, NC.

  • 2016

    Deaverview Baptist Church is adopted into the Biltmore family and launches as the West Asheville Campus.

  • 2018

    Biltmore Church en Español launches to reach our Spanish-speaking neighbors in WNC.

  • 2021

    Brevard Community Church becomes a part of the Biltmore Church family and launches as the Brevard Campus.
