Local Outreach Interest

Work Entry

The way we break down community outreach is really into 5 distinct categories:

  1. Foster Care - we have a growing foster care ministry here at Biltmore especially at our Hendersonville Campus! While your family may not be looking to foster children, a huge area of need and an area to serve is with respite care and support for foster families!
  2. Homeless Shelters/ Food Pantries - this of course is a bit self-explanatory, but a super easy way to get the whole family serving together!
  3. Pregnancy Resource Centers - we partner with PRC’s across WNC to meet moms in a time of crisis to provide support, care, and hope. These centers are always in need of volunteers to help in various ways!
  4. Assisted Living Facility Outreach - We are a church that believes in the sanctity of human life, that means the whole life. Our ALF ministry is made up of volunteers from within Biltmore championing bible studies, crafts, relational care, and small events to love on senior adult residents! Facilities vary across counties and campuses.
  5. Schools Cohorts - this is a brand new initiative we are launching this year to provide continued support and care for students, faculty, and schools! We only have 3 so far in the East Asheville area; however, I hopeful to lunch more by the end of the year!
