Frequently Asked Questions

Adventure Week is for rising kindergarten through 5th graders. Your child will be in a group with their upcoming grade for the 2024-2025 school year.

If you have a rising 6th grader, your child has the opportunity to attend Camp Week with Biltmore Students. For more details, visit biltmorechurch.com/camp. If you have a child who is birth-4yrs (not going to kindergarten), we have programming available for them if you serve as a volunteer throughout the week.

Camp Empower is for children with relational, emotional, or academic differences. Camp Empower is staffed by educators and licensed professionals, who implement social-emotional learning and cognitive development. It can serve children with various special needs diagnoses or trauma histories.

Campers are matched with a camp-trained “Buddy” to support each camper throughout the day.

Camp buddies are typically students or adults ages 17 and up interested in serving children and families from vulnerable situations. Buddies must participate in a training program before camp. Volunteers must fill out an application and be accepted by Camp Directors.

Each day, your child will experience both large and small group environments. This will include worship, skits, large group teaching, rec time, snack time, craft, small group discussion, missions and more!

Everything at Adventure Week is designed to help your child know and love Jesus.

If you have any special requests for your child (being in a group with a friend, dietary restrictions, medical needs, or any other need) you can note that on your registration. We will contact you with any questions to help create the best experience for you and your child.

The week before Adventure Week, you will receive a Parent Handbook. This will outline all the details for the week and information about drop off and pick up, safety and security, and more. Feel free to reach out with any questions! It would be our joy to talk with you.

Family Night is a fun filled celebration of all God has done during Adventure Week. Each campus has their own Family Night the Thursday night of their Adventure Week.

The entire family is invited. The night will include: inflatables, games, ice cream, kids’ worship, and more!

*Food trucks will be on-site with food available for purchase.

Volunteering at Adventure Week is SO much fun! Investing in the next generation is always worth it. When you serve at Adventure Week, you are showing and sharing the love of Jesus in whatever capacity you volunteer!

There are many serving opportunities throughout the week. We would love to have you on the team! Once you register, you will be contacted by a kid’s team member to outline the serving opportunities and walk you through our volunteer onboarding process. *If you have a child of preschool age (birth-4yrs) and you would like to serve, we have Kid Care available for volunteers throughout the week.

If you have any additional questions, we would love to hear from you!  Email us at kids@biltmorechurch.com.
